The SLSATAF50CMS 0.5m Slimline Adapter features a (7-pin) SATA female data connection and a SATA

power connection on one end, with a slimline Serial ATA female connection on the other, enabling you to

connect a slimline optical drive to a SATA controller and power connection.

Supporting full SATA 3 data transfer speeds and a new and improved architecture, this innovative adapter cable

offers the connections needed to simplify the migration to slimline SATA-equipped drives.
